We have seen an increased number of keyless theft of motor vehicles across the North Warwickshire area. We are asking members of the community to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity, through 101 or 999 if in an emergency.
In order to target this, we have increased our patrols, we are engaging with our partners and we wish to remind you of these crime prevention tips: When at home keep your car key (and the spare) well away from the car. Put the keys in a screened or signal-blocking pouch, such as a Faraday Bag and check if the bag or pouch is still working every few months. Re-programme your keys if you buy a second hand car.
