Highest number of Warwickshire officers in force history

We’re continuing to boost the ranks across Warwickshire with new officers joining us.

Since the beginning of September, we’ve welcomed more than 40 new starters – 20 students on our Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) course, 22 from the latest Detective Constable Degree Holder Entry Programme (DCDHEP), plus seven new PCSOs.

From service industry workers to ex-military, they all have a variety of backgrounds, cultures and bring with them a wealth of different experiences and we’re delighted to see two former cadets among the new recruits.

As a force, we’re aiming to build a diverse workforce that reflects the communities we serve, and our new officers will draw on their skills to help police the communities of Warwickshire.

Could this be you?

We’re a small force with a family feel, and we have career opportunities for new and experienced officers in local policing and protective services, for professional services staff and for volunteers.

We value diversity and welcome people with a variety of skills, attitudes and experiences, from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures, who can bring fresh ideas and perspectives to policing.

Visit our Youtube page to hear from people working for us and you can also check out our Careers page to find out more about some of the roles we offer.
