Yesterday evening (17/10/2024), PC Reading and PCSO Allen carried out high-visibility foot patrols of the Churchyard surrounding St Peters Church, Wellesbourne, and The White Bridge area following recent reports of anti-social behaviour in and around the location.

Earlier in the day we had attended a meeting involving members of the public, Wellesbourne & Walton Parish Council, and Church staff, to discuss the most appropriate steps to help us jointly tackle this issue.

A number of teenagers were located in the Churchyard and were spoken to and reminded of the need to clear up after themselves, and be respectful to those around them. Our patrols will continue and any anti-social behaviour reported or witnessed will be dealt with swiftly.
