Yesterday, PC 2300 Thompson & PC 1372 Breeze from Coleshill safer neighbourhood team have conducted high visibility foot patrols in Coleshill. These dedicated foot patrols have been conducted as part of #OperationSceptre week where SNT look to target areas in which youths have been linked to weapons offences. Officers patrolled the town centre high street as well as more residential areas of the town including ASB hotspots.

This week various patrols and events will be carried out by the team as we look to raise awareness to others regarding the distress and tension knife crime causes within the community. 

Whilst on foot patrol today officers took the opportunity to speak with local residents regarding op sceptre and the upcoming events we have planned. As always, should you encounter your local officers whilst they are on patrols, please feel free to raise any concerns you may have which we will look to assist with.

#OperationSceptre involves multi agency partnership working as we look to tackle knife crime. Members of the community greatly assist for the information they provide which was shown today with many members of the public proving information that will assist us going forward.
