Patrols for Op Resolve this evening have lead PC Stewart and PS Stapleton to the Town Hall in Leamington to reports of a man acting in an anti-social manner.

On arrival they did indeed find a man, and exactly as reported he was not behaving a way befitting our Royal Leamington Spa. After a brief, noisy struggle he was arrested for being drunk and disorderly, and marched unceremoniously the 100 meters to custody where he will remain until he is sober enough to charge to court.

Op Resolve is a national initiative to tackle anti-social behaviour in hotspot areas. Town Hall happens to sit in one such area, so this is a great example of these patrols having a positive impact.
