This last week has seen two 4x4 type vehicles stolen from the Shipston area which is a crime trend across the South of the County as well as our bordering counties of West Mercia, Thames Valley and Gloucestershire. The most common way in which vehicles have been taken is with offenders entering properties and taking keys. More recently however it appears that offenders are gaining access to vehicles and then looking to bypass the use of keys to start the vehicles in order to steal. 

It is advised that simple methods of deterrent are utilised such as steering lock and air tags. these are inexpensive ways to safeguard your property.
