Introduction to OP RESOLVE - Hotspot Policing Research has identified that hotspot policing can reduce crime and disorder. Warwickshire Police have received Home Office funding under OP RESOLVE to take action in town centres, through ‘hexagons’ on maps, known as hotspots for anti-social behaviour and violent crime. The main aim of this operation is therefore, to be highly visible and engage with the community to prevent anti-social behaviour in these key locations where we know there is crime and disorder. The purpose of this uplift of officers follows the Home Office giving additional funding to all police forces to target anti social behaviour (ASB) and serious violence. It is the endeavour of Warwickshire Police to engage with local communities and businesses to tackle these two areas of concern .As part of Op Resolve we will be conducting high visibility foot patrols in identified town centre zones.
Patrols Officers will be conducting high visibility patrols in the following area on the date given. If you see us on patrol, please say hello and stop for a chat. Date of Patrol: 20/12/2024 Location of Patrol: The Leys
