A truly insightful visit to the Warwickshire Police Control Room, where I had the privilege of witnessing the incredible work carried out by the dedicated team of call handlers and Communications Officers.
 

An eye-opening experience that highlighted the dedication, professionalism, and resilience of the officers and staff working tirelessly behind the scenes.
 

They are the first point of contact for anyone calling 999 or 101 or reporting an incident via the Warwickshire Police website. Often, they are speaking to people in their most vulnerable moments—whether it’s a missing person, a suspicious incident, a road traffic collision, or a domestic emergency.
 

These professionals come from all walks of life, bringing a wealth of experience and resilience to a role where no two days are ever the same. Working under immense pressure, they remain calm, focused, and decisive, ensuring every call is handled with care, efficiency, and urgency.
 

A huge thank you to Warwickshire Police for allowing me to see this vital operation in action. Your dedication to keeping our communities safe does not go unnoticed
