On Friday 11th April, PC 2300 Thompson & PC 1372 Breeze from Coleshill SNT have conducted walk throughs of local licensed premises in Coleshill. Officers walked through the local pubs during peak hours conducting checks of the toilets for drug use as well as engaging with the licensee’s regarding the regular checks we shall be doing going forward as we look to show a presence in the area. These checks will be conducted on a regular basis following recent walk through and licensing checks we have been completing when on foot patrols on Friday and Saturday nights. When conducting our checks it came to our attention of the parking issues on Birmingham Road which is totally unacceptable to local residents as well the clear obstruction it caused to passing traffic throughout the night, all vehicles causing an obstruction shall be ticketed and reported accordingly.
