On the 5th May 2025, D shift Response was out making enquiries in Warton yesterday to follow up on the suspicious van seen around 3am on the 1st. Door to door was conducted and village CCTV checked again. We’ve made some progress but we would ask everyone to check their ring door bell or CCTV from 03:20 to 03:40 hours on the morning of the 1st please. Some residents only realised their CCTV triggered when we knocked on the door.

We also patrolled surrounding villages while we were out and about.
