PC 2074 has today seized a motorbike reported and photographed by numerous members of the public for riding Anti Socially in Tesco Car Park. We had previously given the bike a S59 Warning for similar reports which meant we had the powers to seize the bike. A community resolution with a compulsory course has also been given to a young lad who had stolen from the store. We are aware of numerous ASB issues in Tesco Bedworth and the concerns it causes for members of the public. We are committed to working with the store and improving this and are identifying suspects of ASB daily by CCTV and phone footage and taking action. I encourage all customers to report ASB via 101 or online along with any evidence they have so we can take action. There have been many good results from this!! There is now Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) in place in Bedworth Town Centre where suspects are being fined for causing ASB after a warning from Police and the Council. I urge the public to report any ASB giving dates, times and locations so we can clamp down on this via CCTV. |
