Another successful Hurley Police week. Pupils at Hurley school endured intensive training on many aspects of policing including, learning the phonetic alphabet, caution, scene guards, hazards within the community, Road safety, parade and observation skills. Pupils resilience within public order training and learning how to conduct an arrest was very important to get to know what makes a good Police officer. We were lucky to have the input from a dog handler which went down particularly well. PCSO Beale added “ Over the course of three days I have seen how the pupils of year 6 have taken this challenge to learn many aspects of what is expected from a police officer, it’s great to see everyone enjoying themselves and rising to the challenge. 6067/6360 |
