Safer Street Briefings in Nuneaton

Keeping you in our communities safe, well, and happy is a team sport – it takes a little bit of everything to make it work.

Starting this week, Nuneaton had its first monthly Safer Street Briefing – a tour around local businesses and the town centre culminating in a community event at The Palace Café.

We want to provide opportunities for everyone to come and talk to us about what they want for their town centre.

Inspector Ryan Walker and brand-new Town Centre Officer PC Seb Lock were joined out in Nuneaton by MP Jodie Gosling, PCC Phillip Seccombe, High Sheriff Karen Lynch MBE, Roy Taylor from Neighbourhood Watch and local councillor Caroline Phillips.

Inspector Ryan Walker said “It was great to get out into our local town centre with our partners and get in touch with the people and businesses in Nuneaton directly.

“You’re telling us that you want to see more of us in the town centre – our new town centre officer will be out in force with the newly-implemented BID wardens, helping to keep our town centre safe.”

See other work, initiatives and opportunities to get involved on our news page, Facebook and Instagram, and you can tell us what you want to see from your local neighbourhood policing team right here on Warwickshire Connected.
