House Burglary Prevention Advice

Historically Most House Burglaries take place when people are away on Holiday during the Summer Holiday period.

Take a few simple steps below to avoid becoming a Victim

 Ensure all Doors and Windows are locked and fit any sensor devices to them if required

Make sure your Burglar Alarm is Set and all security lighting works

Lock all side gates and Garden Sheds

Have neighbours put you Wheelie bin out and return once empty.

Try to get family members to visit and besides checking the property have them collect the mail and open /close the curtain or put a light on

Set a light timer

Fit CCTV and a Ring Doorbell if possible

Remove/ secure small high value items and car keys
