We’ve been in your area
On 27/07/2025 between 1530-23:30, PC Tyler and PC Steventon from the Rural Crime Team took part in Operation KAVAL — the police initiative addressing anti-social behaviour in the Earlswood area.
As part of the operation, the team conducted speed checks on Malthouse Lane and The Common. Over 50 vehicles were stopped, with five drivers given words of advice regarding their speed.
Officers also carried out foot patrols around the lakes, engaging with many members of the community. Two vehicles were found parked illegally on the causeway. Both were issued tickets for obstruction of the highway, and one was found to be uninsured and subsequently seized.
We also met Local Councillor James Crocker during the evening as he walked the lakes with a group of local residents.
As part of our core duties, we were on the lookout for individuals fishing without a rod licence, or those involved in the theft of fishing rights or fish. We’re pleased to report that no such offences were detected on this occasion.
Finally, a big congratulations to our Lionesses! Although we were unable to watch the final match due to being on patrol, we are incredibly proud of the team for their historic win. A special mention goes to goalkeeper Hannah Hampton, who was raised in Studley, Warwickshire. | ||
