Community Policing

This morning PCSO Yaqub from Coleshill Safer Neighbourhood has been out on foot patrol in Corley Services due ongoing thefts at the site. We are working closely with Corley Services and partner agencies to resolve the ongoing issues at the services.

Yesterday we were contacted by a member of public who had found some belongings to a member of the public. PCSO Yaqub had collected the items, searched the Policing Systems and found out who the items belonged after they their vehicle stolen in Birmingham. PCSO Yaqub contacted West Midlands Police to make them aware of this finding. Some of the items were sentimental and they were pleased that some of the items were founds.

PCSO Yaqub also has been working alongside Environmental Health due to recently dog fouling incidents in Atherstone.

Over the past few day’s patrols were conducted at: Coleshill, Ansley Common, Maxstoke, Shustoke, Birchley Heath, New Arley, Old Arley, Fillongley, Corley, Corley Moor and Corley Services.
