Weekly Round Up |
||
We’ve been busy this week, here’s a look at what your policing teams have been up to. The Stratford Mop passed peacefully with a bit of help from #Stratford Safer Neighbourhood Team officers who completed a total of 132 hours of patrols between them in the town centre over the weekend. PCSOs Smith, Mitchell and Rygielski were carrying out patrols in #WaterOrton where they carried out priority surveys to find out what matters most to the local community. They also signed people up to Warwickshire Connected where people can find out what their local teams are up to. We’ll put a link in the comment below if you would like to subscribe. Proving the old adage that no two days are the same in policing, officers in Nuneaton helped to round up some escaped horses. Insert your own pun here. You may have seen our officers out and about raising awareness of hate crime and the impact it has on people and our communities. The Rugby team took the community van to engage with pupils from Bilton School and Henry Hind School. The message is clear, if you are a victim of hate crime you don’t need to suffer in silence; we’re here for you, we’ll listen, offer support, and take action to bring. And finally, the Leamington team were patrolling at Diwali celebrations in the town. We hope everyone had a good time. Weekend highlight for us, it’s got to be Warwick Mop – that time of the year where our officers stand and look at the rides thinking ‘not in a million years!’ Whatever you’re doing this weekend, stay safe and have a good one. | ||
