If you spotted the helicopter hovering this afternoon, it wasnât sightseeing or filming the next episode of *Top Gear*. It was helping Nuneaton & Bedworth SNT and OPU track down two males who thought they could outrun the police on a stolen bike. Spoiler alert: they couldnât.
After failing to stop, they went full Fast & Furious. Multiple stinger sites and some impressive driving (by us, not them) led to the suspects ditching their bike and trying to play hide-and-seek in the woods. Unfortunately for them, the helicopter doesnât play fair. It spotted them from above, and both were arrested.
Theyâll now be dealt with for theft and driving offences.
