Vehicle Crime Alert - Add street name and area

It was a late one last night for your neighbourhood officers – who went out on a special operation to target vehicle crime in and around Atherstone and Coleshill.

In all, they checked 44 vehicles, stopped 19, issued eight traffic offence reports seizing 2 of them.

But the highlight of the long night was the seizure of a suspected stolen Land Rover Discovery.

The driver failed to stop and then fled on foot – but we’re currently gathering evidence as to just who was driving it and we’re confident we’ll be paying them a visit quite soon.
